Advisors should encourage their student researchers to submit. Forms are now available online! The next deadline for submission is May 2007! Send your intention to submit to nurj@northwestern.edu .
Northwestern undergraduate students are invited to write feature articles that will appear in the next issue of NURJ. Those interested should contact NURJ at nurj@northwestern.edu
Advertisements are now being accepted for print in the November 2007 issue.
We are gladly accepting research in all fields of study to better reflect the range of work by undergraduates at Northwestern.
NURJ has moved its publication from the spring to the fall and added more deadlines! Students finishing their research in the Spring now have time to submit for the next publication.
Thanks to all the authors, their advisors, faculty and student reviewers. Thanks also to the Office of the President, Office of the Provost, Weinberg College of Arts and Sciences, and McCormick School of Engineering and Applied Science for their financial contributions.
The Northwestern Undergraduate Research Journal is a student initiative for the fostering of research at the undergraduate level. All published work is performed, authored, and reviewed by undergraduate students. As an extension of the commitments to undergraduate research and education, the journal provides a more tangible, visible and available forum, gives students the opportunity to demonstrate their analytical writing skills, and promotes further student involvement in undergraduate research.
